On Monday, Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys started a campaign to get involved with "Glee." The 36-year-old boy band member started the push with his personal Twitter page. Hitting up his 116,000 followers, Brian encouraged his fans to spread this message: "Power of the Chirpsters!!!!! Calling all who care! Get the Backstreet Boys on Glee!!! could you imagine? Oh yes I could! Chirp! Go go go."
The Backstreet Boys have a large and diverse following, coming together with five young men in 1993. The group has sold over 130 million albums, making them the best-selling boy band of all time. Now that the group has teamed up with New Kids on the Block for a blockbuster 2011 tour, their popularity is getting a resurgence.
