Can We Make This Album Reach the Philippine Shores?

This was never released in the Philippines and many Pinoy fans were asking when would this be available and where. Honestly, we do not have answers for that because the Backstreet Boys are now independent artists and all we could do was to hope and pray that someday - soon (!) - In A World Like This would hit the Philippine shores. This was the first album after Kevin Richardson joined the group again, so it was really special. Many of our members were able to get a copy from other countries but of course, not everyone was fortunate enough to get this. In today's digital age, it was easy to download this in iTunes or in Google Play. But nothing beats the glory of owning one, smelling it, gazing at the photos and reading the Thank Yous. So how about if we start a campaign to ask the Backstreet Boys to stock up a box and bring some to the Philippines? :) What do you think? :)

Nick Carter loves looking youthful

Nick Carter insists he looks younger than his friends because of his exciting childhood.

The 31-year-old is best known as one of the lead vocalists of pop group Backstreet Boys. Nick, who went on to release a solo album called Now Or Never during the band’s hiatus, says that despite doubting his music career during his younger years, he now appreciates the positive effect it had on his life.

"I used to have that feeling [of missing out on a childhood]. I used to live in the past, trying to figure out who I was. I regretted things. My friends went to high school and had their proms and everything, whereas I only came home for a short time and then had to fly off again. I used to be a kind of a roving soul,” he explained in an interview with German website unikosmos.de. “But when I look back I can see how happy I am. All my friends look older than me and are not as healthy as I am. Plus I am urban because I have travelled the world. I like my life."

Man of the Moment: Nick Carter

We realize boy band members can come in for some mockery. But the man in this picture isn’t just the seller of 130-plus million albums worldwide. He’s a re-engineered guy who in the past few years has hit the gym, dropped 65 pounds, and beaten Justin Timberlake in an arm-wrestling match. (He also dates a fit chick.) So the week his new solo album, I’m Taking Off, drops on iTunes, we talked with the 31-year-old about video games, hair care and how guys are suckers. Dude’s got some surprisingly good advice.

Nick Carter Is OK Being a Guilty Pleasure, Wants to Avoid Being a 'Savior' or 'Tragedy'

You may best remember Nick Carter as the fresh-faced, youngest member of the Backstreet Boys, but the now 31-year-old singer is back after nearly nine years with his sophomore solo effort 'I'm Taking Off', out May 24. His first, 2002's 'Now or Never,' is an album he looks back on now as a premature project. AOL Music recently caught up with the singer to talk about his battles with drug and alcohol addiction, and how after honing his craft as a musician, he is ready to shine with a "mature pop album."

Carter is gearing up for an epic summer tour with his Backstreet Boys and fellow boy band New Kids on the Block, but admits he had to go through a fit of rebellion before finally being able to embrace pop music again. In our interview, he reveals his biggest addiction of all, his feelings about a possible BSB episode of 'Glee,' and how he escaped becoming a child star "tragedy."

Nick Carter Talks NKOTBSB Tour & How Matthew Morrison Came on Board

When news broke late last year that New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys would be joining forces to go a nationwide tour, ladies everywhere could barely contain their excitement! And although it’s been a long wait, the guys are finally ready to hit the road with their first show kicking off in Illinois on May 25.
Celebuzz has been excited about this for months, so we were thrilled when we got the chance to chat with Nick Carter about what to expect from the tour, his upcoming solo album (out May 25) and much more!

How excited are you for the upcoming tour?
It’s something so extraordinary. We were just at the practice facility yesterday and the stage is so large. It’s about 50 yards long, it’s crazy. When we do the choreography and run-through, we realize how big this is going to be.

What have you been doing to prepare for the tour?
I’ve been doing vocal rehearsals. We’ve all been coached. We’re also getting a lot of rest and have switched over to a vegetarian diet. I’m trying to get my brain clear and ready for everything that’s to come.
